Travelling by Road

From Udupi Bus Stand to Dhamma Nadi Vipassana Centre via Shivapura, 31 Km

One can take a rickshaw or taxi directly to Dhyan Kendra (DNVC) via Shivapura.

Please check the fare with the rickshaw / taxi driver in advance.

Alternately one can take a bus from Udupi Bus Stand going towards Hebri-Shivamogga and get down at village Shivapura. From here one can take a rickshaw to the Dhyan Kendra (DNVC) which is 3 km from Shivapura.

From Hebri Bus Stand to Dhamma Nadi Vipassana Centre via Shivapura, 9 Km

One can take a rickshaw directly to Dhyan Kendra (DNVC) via Shivapura.

Please check the fare with the rickshaw driver in advance.

Alternately one can take a bus from Hebri Bus Stand going towards Udupi-Mangalore and get down at village Shivapura. From here one can take a rickshaw to the Dhyan Kendra (DNVC) which is 3 km from Shivapura.

Travelling by own Car / Two-Wheeler

The Centre is located off the Udupi – Hebri – Shivamogga Highway (NH-169A). One needs to turn off the highway at village Shivapura and drive 3 km to the location. Parking space is available at the centre.

Travelling by Train

From Udupi Railway Station to Dhamma Nadi Vipassana Centre via Shivapura, 30 Km

The closest railway station to Dhyan Kendra (DNVC) is Udupi Railway Station.

One can take a rickshaw / taxi directly to Dhyan Kendra (DNVC) via Shivapura.

Alternately one can take a rickshaw to Udupi Bus Stand, take a bus going towards Hebri- Shivamogga and get down at village Shivapura. From here one can take a rickshaw to the Dhyan Kendra (DNVC) which is 3 km from Shivapura.

From Mangaluru to Dhamma Nadi Vipassana Centre via Shivapura, 84 Km

The distance from Mangaluru International Airport, Bajpe (nearest airport) to Dhamma Nadi Vipassana Centre is 76 – 84 km via Karakala by road. It takes about 2 hours to reach the centre by taxi.

Alternately from Mangaluru Airport one can take

1. 1. A taxi / rickshaw to Bajpe Bus Stand

   2. Bajpe Bus Stand to Karkala to Hebri to Shivapura (3 buses or 2 buses and 1 rickshaw) OR

   3. Bajpe Bus Stand to Udupi to Shivapura (2 buses)

   4. From Shivapura one can take a rickshaw to the Dhyan Kendra (DNVC) which is 3 km from Shivapura
